UPI and BPIB Sign a Cooperative Management

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) signed the MoU with Pancasila Ideology Development Board or Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BPIP), in Monday, 9 March 2020 at the first floor meeting room, BPIP Building, on Veteran III number 2, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

The signing of the MoU is about the teaching of Pancasila to prevent radicalism and extremism on the campus. The signing was signed directly by the Rector of UPI, Prof. Dr. H.R. Asep Kadarohman, M.Si., and the head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Board, Prof. KH. Yudian Wahyudi, MA, Ph.D.

On this occasion, aside from signing with UPI, the BPIP also signed with 11 Institute of Teachers’ Education including Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Universitas Negeri Medan, Universitas Negeri Padang, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Universitas Negeri Manado, and Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

Besides the MoU agenda, a discussion was held between BPIP and the Rectors of the Institute of Teachers’ Education. The discussion was regarding the coordination and synergy of activities through internalizing and grounding of Pancasila in realizing an advanced Indonesia. (DD/DN)
