The Faculty of Economics and Business Education (FPEB) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) successfully organized The 10th Global Conference on Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship (GCBME) 2025. The hybrid-format international conference carried the theme “Transformational Leadership and Innovation for Business Sustainability”, attracting 199 participants from various countries, with 179 selected abstracts presented in parallel sessions.

Conference Chair and Dean of FPEB UPI, Prof. Dr. Ratih Hurriyati, M.P., CSBA, stated that this 10th edition marks a significant milestone in strengthening UPI’s academic culture while reinforcing FPEB’s strategic position as a pioneer of global collaboration in business, management, and entrepreneurship. The event was co-hosted with Universitas Cipasung Tasikmalaya, Institut Pendidikan Indonesia Garut, Universitas Garut, Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional, Termez University (Uzbekistan), and Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam).

UPI Vice Rector for Education and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Vanessa Gaffar, SE., Ak., MBA, emphasized that GCBME embodies the university’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary synergy, expanding global academic networks, and driving innovation in economic and business education.

The conference featured distinguished keynote speakers, including Prof. Brian Yuliarto, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. (Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia), Prof. Robert De Souza, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Executive Director/CEO of The Logistics Institute – Asia Pacific), Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa (Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam), Dr. Andreawan Honora (UWA Business School, The University of Western Australia), and Dr. Masharyono (FPEB UPI).

Participants came from South Korea, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Ghana, and various regions of Indonesia. Presentations were organized into five parallel tracks: (1) Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Human Resource Management; (2) Innovation, Information Technology, Operations, and Supply Chain Management; (3) Marketing Management; (4) Financial and Accounting Management; and (5) Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Contemporary Issues.

All submitted papers underwent a rigorous double-blind peer review process and will be published in the Advances in Economics, Business, and Management Research proceedings series (Atlantis Press – Springer Nature), indexed in Web of Science, CNKI, and Google Scholar. Selected high-quality papers will also be considered for publication in reputable Scopus-indexed journals such as Business Strategy and the Environment and Knowledge-Based Systems.

Beyond serving as a platform for scientific presentations, GCBME 2025 fostered international networking, cross-country research collaborations, and critical reflections on global business dynamics. This achievement reaffirms FPEB UPI’s role as a center of excellence in inclusive, globally competitive, and sustainability-oriented business research and education. (contributor)
