Joint Seminar in Research Method in Science for International Students of UPI and Telkom University

International students of UPI and Telkom University attend the “Joint Seminar on Research Methods in Science, Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities”, March 11th, 2020 at the University Centre meeting room 1st floor.

Besides building partnerships with overseas universities, UPI has also established partnerships with domestic universities, for example conducting joint seminars for international students with local partners. The aim was to increase the knowledge of the International students apart from the field of expertise they have learned on campus.

The seminar was attended by UPI and Telkom University students including international students from BIPA, KNB and Darmasiswa programs. The seminar itself was intended for postgraduate students, but bachelor students’ also welcomed. The speaker of the seminar was Ahmad Bukhori Muslim, Ph.D. and Fitri Khoerunnisa, S.Pd., M.Si. Ph.D. They were delivering a topic regarding Social Science Research and Sciences Engineering.

The seminar discussed research and how to conduct research, explaining how to decide the most suitable framework like; Interdisciplinary research, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary theoretical framework, whether the research should be pure or applied, etc. At the end of the seminar, the students were engaged in a Question and Answer session, to discuss in research interest. (Ghina Aulia Saffanah)
