The Business Education Student Association (BESA) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) once again hosted its annual flagship event, Presdir Cup 2025, as a platform to strengthen connections and solidarity among students and alumni across generations of the Business Education Study Program.
Carrying the theme “Solidarity On Track, Strategy On Field,” the event combined sports and networking through two main activities: a Fun Run and a Futsal Tournament, both designed to promote sportsmanship, togetherness, and healthy lifestyles.
The series began with the Fun Run held on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at the UPI Partere area. The event kicked off at 8:00 a.m. with opening remarks from the organizing committee and the BESA President Director, followed by a group warm-up and prayer before participants started the run. The enthusiastic participation of active students and alumni created a lively and energetic atmosphere.
Beyond physical activity, the Fun Run also served as a meaningful networking space. Students and alumni exchanged experiences, particularly about academic journeys and professional careers, fostering valuable intergenerational connections. The session concluded with a door prize distribution and a group documentation session.
The second highlight, the Futsal Tournament, took place on Sunday, 21 December 2025, at OBC Futsal Bandung. Teams composed of Business Education students and alumni competed in a league-format tournament that showcased both competitiveness and teamwork while upholding the spirit of sportsmanship.
After a series of exciting matches leading to the final round, the Class of 2013 emerged as the champion of Presdir Cup 2025. Strong support from participants and spectators added to the festive atmosphere of the competition.
The event concluded with the awarding of trophies to the winning team, appreciation for all participants and organizers, and a group documentation session. Through Presdir Cup 2025, BESA UPI reaffirmed its commitment to organizing programs that strengthen solidarity, foster intergenerational relationships, and support the character development of Business Education students.
In addition, this initiative aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by promoting active and healthy lifestyles, SDG 4: Quality Education through character and community development, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between students and alumni. (Ajeng)
