Supporting Independence Campus Policy: UPI Head of Community Relations Practices The Quality of Lecturer Learning

Deni Darmawan, S.Pd, M.Sc., MCE trained several lecturers at the Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten in the quality of lecturer learning workshop (11/3/2020). This program supports the independent campus policy launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Head of SMH UIN Banten expressed her appreciation for the presence of Prof. Dr. H. Deni Darmawan, S.Pd, M.Sc. in this event. This activity was held in the context of enhancing the capacity of lecturers in the environment of UIN SMH Banten in the framework of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. The Head of LPM UIN SMH Banten reminded the participants of the workshop to pay attention to the materials presented by the speakers. Through this workshop, hopefully, the performance of Banten SMH UIN lecturers can improve the performance of the institution.

On this occasion, Prof. Deni as the speaker explained the important role of lecturers in responding to the independent campus policy. The right step in realizing the policy is for lecturers to increase their capacity, especially in developing learning media in ICT-based tertiary institutions. The material that was discussed is related to the assessment of research-based teaching materials such as e-learning practices with Edmodo. The development of inspiring-based digital learning teaching materials and the development of simulation-based digital systems.

Prof. Deni is happy to be able to share experiences with lecturers about innovation in learning. The challenges of the Independent Campus today are inseparable from the role of lecturers in improving the quality and capacity of lecturers.
