The accreditation started with discussions with the Senior Management of UPI in Partere Building. It was a discussion with experts of the university regarding the colleges, faculties, and departments program’s strategies.

After the discussion, the assessors were having a campus tour around UPI; to Isola Building, Islamic Tutorial Centre, University Medical Centre (policlinic), Laboratory School (Labschool), UPI Central Library, ICT Directorate, Sports Arena, UPI’s Education Museum, and tour to FPIPS building. In the tour, the assessors paid a visit to study programs office and learning facilities that were available at FPIPS UPI like; Reading Room, Classrooms, GIS Laboratory, and Micro-teaching Room.

The agenda of the accreditation also included discussions with Faculty Management (Faculty of Social Science Education and School of Postgraduate Studies), and also discussion with teaching staff from the Bachelor programme “Geography Education” about past and future development of the programme, intended learning outcome, teaching and learning, students assessment, curriculum, etc.

The study programs were accredited based upon the on-site inspection of the full range of the college’s provisions and supporting activities, together with a detailed consideration of the college’s external (statutory) and internal documentation, which helps to ensure that the ongoing operation of college is maintained at an acceptable level.
